So fine. His first record changed my life. Turned to music right then and there. Years later a concert of his was the first night out for my wife and me. We’re now 27 years well married, have three kids, all of them musicians and all JB fans. Owe him more than words can carry, and never felt more moved than the night I heard him apologize on stage for the damage coke had wrought in his music, and say out loud that Dave had never touched it. Jackson is a man in full, and rocks to this day.
especially the first 53 seconds of this clip where he’s smiling & grinning. You have no idea how many times I’ve watched just that part with that beautiful smile
I am only 30 years old but when i was a young boy i used to drive around the back roads of Northern Minnesota with My Uncle hunting…..and he would play this song all the time….brings back some real good memories…..then i realized what cocaine was all about when i got older…..that old cocaine bout to make me sick
David Lindley sure does a fantastic backing job on this one!
yeah, IT WASN’T A FINE LINE EITHER, IT WAS A KNUMBER………
GREAT TUNE !!!
GREAT POST!!!
Must have a good snort beofore video…
Is the sound quality poor, or is it that the Cocaine is Primo?
Maybe my favorite line ever: “Losing touch with reality and almost out of blow. Such a fine line. I’d hate to see it go.”

You said it. I just saw him in Brooklyn, he is 60 and I still want to do with him..
Minds out of the gutter… I was visualizing him on my mantle piece … and in a few other places in my home.
Forget the coke..Jack is just as cute as he wants to be… Oooh what I could do with him….mmmmm
the great thing about the recording on running on empty is he sounds as if he’s just done a couple of grams of that ”old cocaine”
